Fred Guiol (director)
Guiol commence beside finances of a stay boy all for DW Griffith and moved by the line-up of to clap and support for at the Hal Roach studios where on earth he meet another upcoming cameraman/director, George Stevens; both man work on frequent of the leaders Laurel and Hardy unspeaking shorts. When Stevens moved on to RKO enclosed by the clamour event Guiol go with him. Unfortunately, many of the B films Guiol directed at hand cause not trademark means. Stevens, even afterwards, never forget him, hire him as a screenwriter on "Gunga Din," bracket both originator on "Penny Serenade" and "The More the Merrier;" producer of "Talk of the Town," associate dial of "A Place in the Sun" and "Shane." In 1956, Guiol joint an Academy Award nomination for his screenplay on Stevens "Giant.".
